China's Baidu search engine merges with Microsoft's Bing. Should Google be worried?
As everyone knows that China and the United States have been competing for economical status for decades, but now China is moving to American search engine "Bing" for a better grasp on the American company Google search engine. China has it's own version of Google called Baidu, but with Microsoft's Bing, it would allow a English search form, since the English laungage is the second language in China. China has a population of 1.3 billion and 4.99 trillion GDP, a power house in the worlds economic status. Google recently moved from its China web search to Hong Kong site last March after confronting issues with Beijing over censorship issues. This was a great opportunity for Microsoft to launch Bing in the worlds largest internet market. Because of this unique new partnership with Baidu, this will allow both party's to tap into a on growing internet market. I think Google had to much pride to negotiation with China's strict search engine rules and could have double there net worth. With this new merger I will bet we will start to see more Bing advertisement with China's Baidu.
